Understanding ISO 9001 : 2015

Quality management system

The ISO 9000 family of standards represents a large international consensus. Published for the first time in 1987 by the International Standards Organisation (ISO), the ISO 9001 standard has since evolved via four revisions. Adopted as the national standard by most countries, it is also the choice of more than one million businesses for their quality management system (QMS). A major element of procurement strategies in many industrial sectors, it is also associated with product certification programs or part of regulations.

This course presents the latest edition of ISO 9001, published in 2015.

Objective

The goal of this course is for participants to develop a solid understanding of each of the articles of the ISO 9001:2015 standard, and how they are interrelated in order to create a dynamic quality management system that enables the organisation to reach its quality objectives in harmony with its strategic objectives.

Target Audience

This course is designed for support staff and, in general, any personnel that would like to become familiar with and understand the standard, and/or personnel that would like to refresh its existing understanding of the requirements, particularly with regard to the latest edition of the standard.

The course is relevant to organizations of all types and sizes.

Details

A 7-hour training certificate will be emailed to each participant in the days following the course. An Internet satisfaction survey will also be transmitted to participants.

This course is offered publicly in French (see date scheduled in French version) AND as in-house training (at the client site or preferred location). The latter allows for flexibility in the timeframe.
