Technical assessor course
OBJECTIVES
This 3-day course has an objective to provide laboratory specialists with the knowledge and techniques necessary for successfully participating in an assessment team providing accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025, General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Laboratory specialist acting as Technical assessor in an assessment team, for an Accreditation Body such as the Standards Council of Canada.
PREREQUISITE
None.
OUTLINE
The course starts with a good overview of the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, with a particular focus on
Chapter 5 - Technical requirements.
Assessment techniques are then presented and practised, covering all phases of an assessment in which a technical assessor is normally involved.
All course material is very interactive, with many structured discussions and workshops.
