An introduction to the ISO 9000 series of standards
OBJECTIVES
After the session, the participants:
will appreciate the motivation for ISO 9001:2008, its benefits and its international success;
will understand its underlying principles and key requirements;
will realize the main steps for its implementation and, as needed, third-party certification.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Top management, managers or employees interested in getting acquainted with the ISO 9000 series of standards, and particularly ISO 9001. This course is also open and relevant to the public at large.
Those responsible for defining, implementing or maintaining the quality management system should attend the 2-day course on ISO 9001.
PREREQUISITE
None
OUTLINE
This Cybercourse presents an overview of:
some key concepts and the Quality management principles;
the scope of ISO 9001;
the requirements of ISO 9001;
sector-specific applications;
action plan and certification.
