ISO/TS 16949:2009
For a successful implementation
OBJECTIVES
This 2-day course has an objective of explaining the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2009 standards, including the relevant definitions of ISO 9000:2000.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course is intended for managers, for personnel involved with the implementation of these standards in their organisation, being already certified or not to ISO 9001or QS-9000.
PREREQUISITE
There is no prerequisite for the course.
OUTLINE
This training presents the new structure and orientations of the ISO/TS 16949, considering an approach oriented more towards effectiveness, efficiency and measurement of the quality system management system.
With the QS-9000 standard expiring in December 2006, the new ISO/TS 16949 standard is already required from some automotive manufacturers, and it will be more and more for any organisation willing to supply directly to the automotive industry.
The course will help to understand the rationale and the principles which are the foundation of the ISO/TS16949 standard as well as how to apply it. It will also help to implement it in any organization, while focusing on its needs and building from its existing management system.
Hands-on workshops will show how to develop a quality manual and its related documents. Furthermore, the documentation provided will help participants get started when returning to their organization.
