Ms. Pelchat has a civil engineering degree and a Master of Sciences Degree in water resources and is a Certified Environmental Auditor (CEA) recognized by the Association Québécoise de Vérification Environnementale. She has over ten years experience in environmental auditing. In addition to having extensive auditing experience (ISO 9001 & 14001, compliance and environmental site assessment Phase 1), she is involved in environmental management system implementations, she has participated in a number of environmental impact studies and has been actively involved in international projects (an institutional strengthening project in Vietnam, a Cleaner Production project in China and a Support Project in Senegal).
