Course description
The industry has created the IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group), made up of representatives from Aerospace and Defense companies in the Americas, Asia/Pacific and Europe, to achieve significant quality improvements and cost reductions throughout the value chain.
IAQG has prepared the 9100:2016 standard (AS - English version - and EN - French version - published in 2017). Standard 9100:2016 is intended for use by organizations that design, develop or supply aerospace and defense products and services, and by organizations that provide post-delivery activities, including the supply of maintenance, spares or materials for their own products and services.
Standard 9100:2016 has been revised ("Revision D") to incorporate the new structure and content of ISO 9001:2015. In addition, to meet the needs of stakeholders, industry requirements, definitions and notes were also revised.
Target clientele
The course is relevant for anyone wishing to discover and understand the above standards, as well as for those wishing to refresh or upgrade their knowledge on the subject.

Course objective
This course aims for participants to develop a good understanding of the key requirements of ISO 9001:2015 "Quality Management System - Requirements" and the additional requirements for the aerospace and defense industry, as provided by 9100:2016 ver. D.
Although this course focuses on the specific requirements of operational activities, it provides an excellent overview of all the components of a mature QMS.
