Course Description

The Lean philosophy aims to improve productivity by reducing waste, while the Six Sigma methodology improves quality by reducing variations.Taken together, Lean Six Sigma is a powerful tool for optimizing a company's processes and thus better meeting requirements.

The success of this approach is based on the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team that is asked to implement an improvement project. This training allows you to deepen your knowledge of this approach and prepares you to promote a continuous improvement project.

Target clientele

The Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma is aimed at managers at all levels or anyone interested in continuous improvement.

Course objective

At the end of the training, you will be able to:

  • Differentiate the different roles within a Lean Six Sigma project;
  • Evaluate the potential results of a continuous improvement project;
  • Promote an improvement project;
  • Prepare a project charter;
  • Manage the improvement project portfolio;
  • Support project teams to achieve sustainable results.


The course covers the following topics:

  • Concepts, definitions and vocabulary;
  • The foundations of Lean and Six Sigma;
  • Measuring the performance of a process;
  • The DMAIC methodology and improvement tools;
  • Managing an improvement project.


There are no prerequisites for this course.
