Earth Day 2025: Business, Citizens and Sustainable Energy

Earth Day has been held every year on April 22 for over 50 years. Its aim is to empower people to take action. According to the organization, “People power is the catalyst for radical change, because when individuals unite around a common goal, they can overcome even the most entrenched systems and industries.”

The theme of Earth Day 2025 is energy, and the vision is to: “Harnessing renewable energy to build a healthy, sustainable, equitable and prosperous future for us all, let’s commit to renewable energy now.”

But in concrete terms, how can companies and individuals take action on this issue, especially since the majority of our electricity in Quebec comes from hydroelectricity?

This conference is for all citizens, employees and employers who want to make a concrete contribution to Earth Day and sustainable development. This conference is aimed at those with little knowledge of energy.

Following this conference, participants will be able to :

• Prioritize actions to be taken at company or personal level
• Find out about available subsidies and credits
