The IATF (International Automotive Task Force) brings together manufacturers and their respective national automotive industry associations, with the aim of providing better quality products to vehicle buyers worldwide.
To ensure quality for its customers, IATF relies on the rigorous quality of its suppliers. To harmonize the various assessment and certification systems worldwide for the automotive supply chain, it created the ISO/TS 16949 standard.
The IATF 16949 standard evolved in 2016 with the aim of responding more adequately to the needs mentioned by manufacturers, registrars and other stakeholders in the automotive industry. The new version is aligned with the ISO 9001 quality standard, with supplements to the various requirements and elements specific to the automotive industry. The standard also refers to AIAG-VDA quality tools, such as APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, CP and PPAP. All these elements are presented in the various modules of the course.
The visual support material is highly recognized. It highlights key points, making it easier to understand and retain the information provided. Full documentation is also provided.
